Facebook Notes and Short Stories

Let me start by saying that I'm no stranger to community websites. In fact, I'm on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and more than a few forum boards. Out of all of these places, Facebook is arguably my favorite place to be. There's so much to do with you friends and family there, and you get so many connections to people you wouldn't ever receive the opportunity to truly talk to otherwise. Not only that, but you have pictures, and you have notes. Notes, notes, notes... Would it really surprise you for me to tell you that I use Facebook notes to write short stories on occasion? Right now I even have a story going on. It goes by the name of WELL... What I'd Do If Anything Were Possible, and it's extremely random and, one may daresay, stupid. Now that I've said that, here's chapter one!

"Chapter 1
I'd time-warp back to the days the Earth was made, wave hello to all the shiny stars falling into our solar system and subsequently semi-blowing us up, do a bitta-a funky jig, and then jump back into our time and fly up and over the Great Sphinx with nothing but a toaster with ultimate toasting-toast-and-shootin
g-them-out-supersonically abilities to skyrocket myself up into the air.

Afterwards I'd go visit people from Facebook (look in the tags for who this time~) on said toaster, say YO WADDUP, get into some rich dude's limo and become a famous movie star alongside the likes of Tom Cruise in some action flick. With said action flick under my belt I shall go on to become a bigger and better star, and employ before-said Facebook friends to become stars along with me. YOU GOTTA HAVE CHOPS OR YOU WILL NOT MAKE IT!

Once I reach the point of no return in Hollywood, forever a star (;D), I'll buy some awesome mansion that can shoot itself up out of our solar system with a million of those ultimate toasting-toast-and-shooting-them-out-supersonically toasters to back it up just in case the jet turbine that runs out of flour loses its way. When out of the solar system, I will visit the far away planet of Ugradropsee where I will meet with its king. Being the famous star I am, King Ugradropsee will realize the power he can find with me and therefore appoint me to his staff. Once there, I'll turn around the planet for the better and bring the King back to Earth for a signing deal with 19 Entertainment.

From there, King Ugradropsee and I will start a radio show where we sing LIVE and we sing ONLY. No instrumental, no nothing; just King Ugradropsee and I getting down to business with amazing acapella duets to things like "Play That Funky Music" and the "Celtic Woman" soundtracks. Afterwards, we'll meet up with Ryan Seacrest who will give over his job as host of American Idol to Ugradropsee. From there, American Idol will have become Ameridropsee Idol and would host not only singing artists, but professional Etch-a-Sketch drawers from across the universe. In fact, one said act will have a middle aged Ugradropsian SINGING "Across the Universe" by the Beatles with a bagpipe in one mouth and singing in the other, all the while three Etch-a-Sketchers from Mars and Earth create this fantastical portrait of Kris Allen, whom they apparently worship.

After the final season of Ameridropsian Idol the countries of Earth, Mars, Ugradropsee and other places will throw a riot and lead the worlds into Intergalactic War I, all over a silly TV show being canceled! This will result in three generals taking forces to fight as the Taxes Empire, and five other generals taking forces to fight as the Alleys Empire against the Taxes. Only one would win, with Ugrodropsee and Earth both on the Alleys Empire's side. Who would win? Well that is something you will find out in another chapter of "WELL...""
See? Extremely random. Well, that's just one of my many sides, so I hope you enjoyed that. ;)  Keep in mind this is completely casual; in no ways do I write like this in my real books! Haha.

And so, that's the secret reason why Facebook notes are awesome: you can use 'em for short stories! The cool thing here is that I'm incorporating my friends in references through the story, and I'm tagging them as the chapters go on. Pretty cool, right?

Obligatory Introductions

Introductions, introductions, introductions... Not really sure if I'm ever good with these posts. Partly because I question what on Earth I can possibly say about myself that'd further interest you beyond certain posts, and partly because I'm extremely eager to get on with the other posts I have planned for the blog! Well, we may as well get started on this post regardless, right? My name is Jonathan Frahm, I'm 16 years-old and live in the western United States. As a hobby and career, I think of books, I write books, and I then copyright and hopefully sooner-than-later find a publisher for them.

Okay, so I said who I was in a nutshell. There's not much else to explain about me at this exact moment that's of any importance so let's move on to what the blog is about. So this blog, it's called Jonathan Frahm's Storyboard for a good reason. What's that reason? Well, at this blog, I will be writing anything and everything relating to past works and current works concerning the books that I'm writing, and perhaps even some short stories I've written posted here and there.

My hopes for the blog is that it picks up enough steam, so that I may get some sort of name out there. Right now I only have one book published, and that book would be Rocket 2032, and any extra exposure I could get would be awesome honestly; especially with four new books already on the way. I've got one of those four in the copyright already too. I have to admit however that that one may not be of as high a quality as the later three books due to the amount of growth I've experienced in my writing skills, though that being said it's still enjoyable to read, or at least I think so but it's really up to you guys on that part (inserting wink... now)!

As I get the okay for these things, you can bet your butt I'll be talking deeper and deeper into my later stories' as well. All I can say is this blog will be awesome. That is all. Thanks.

...OKAY NOW IT'S TIME FOR THE REAL COOL POSTS..
